The Purpose
Tailored to maximize traction and accuracy on the unrelenting stages of the Enduro World Series. Tuned for front wheel comfort and precision and rear wheel strength and durability. Developed in the UK and Proven around the globe during the 2022 EWS season under Fergus Ryan.
Proprietary front and rear carbon layup and weave, with specific front and rear spoke gauges for a fully tuned carbon wheel system. What sets Race Enduro apart is the tailored front and rear rim carbon layups, each aimed to offer specific ride properties. The front is tuned for comfort, while the rear can withstand impacts and compressions. All this while providing precise control and reducing fatigue during those long EWS stages.

The HUNT Engineering team uses our custom impact rig to test Proven Race Enduro alongside leading competitors and our own wheelsets. The graph below shows the impact energy (J) recorded at the first sign of failure. Our new Proven Race Enduro exhibits an impact strength 12J greater than that of the HUNT All-Mountain Carbon H_Impact wheelset.
As most of you will already know, we design our wheels to take a pretty impressive amount of hammering under all sorts of conditions. Our no compromise enduro wheel system.
- Rims | Hookless Built to offer the same levels of impact resistance as our legendary All Mountain Carbon H_IMPACT wheelset but with the benefits of added traction and compliance. Updated 30mm internal rim profiles make the most of modern Enduro tires, while a 23mm deep design increases strength.
- Hubs | Large body Hunt Enduro front hub and 5 degree RapidEngage rear hub, boost (110/148 )or Super-Boost (110/157) spacing. Large double sealed cartridge bearings. Rock Shox Torque Caps for Boost hubs are available.
- Axles | Extra thick 17mm 7075-T6 axles for increased strength and stiffness. Reducing flex in the hub also helps to increase bearing life
- Hand-built | All of our wheels are built and finished by hand, inclusive of a full quality control inspection.
- Tires | Optimized for 2.35"-2.6" tire widths, but also work very well with 1.9"-2.8".
- Bearings | Super smooth, replaceable, Revo bearings offer fast rolling performance. Dual full-contact seals and long-lasting, heat-resistant grease protect against water ingress for longer service intervals.

- Front and rear-specific carbon construction, built for front-wheel compliance and rear-wheel strength.
- Tubeless-ready – designed to work excellently with tubeless tires. Tubeless-rim tape and valves included.

Spokes

- Front Spokes are Pillar PSR TB2016, with a narrower 1.6mm central butted diameter.

Tires Info
- HUNT recommends a 2.35"-2.6" tire for best performance, tire widths between 1.9" and 2.8" are also safe to use.
- You must not exceed the maximum tire pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tire manufacturer if this is lower.
- Note: best performance is usually gained by using tire pressures lower than the maximum, you can see our blog postabout this.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 135kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If a rider is over 125Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 44psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.
